Kol-Ukok

Kol-Ukok, another high altitude lake (3000m). It took some hours of driving a difficult offroad path to reach this lake, but doable with a good 4x4 car. However it is impossible to do the last 3km by car as the path is too narrow. So i took my lazy *ss off the seat and hiked.

When i reached the lake, i found 2 nomads kyrgyz, a mother and her son, who invited me for dinner.

Here is an image that i took at blue hour with the moon rising. The yurts are in the opposite direction of that photo, just behind me !
